Audio Consultancy

We offer a full audio consultancy service for advice, fault-finding and design across the board. We are more than happy to give simple advice or talk through a situation with you over the phone. But if you require attendance in person or some more detailed system or studio design work then please call for a quote.

Basically, if the job requires us to spend time on-site fault-finding, advising or carrying out rigging or wiring, then our rates are £20 per hour or part of an hour. If the job is not local, we charge £0.50 per mile for travel costs.

Where you require studio design, audio installation design or something similar, then we will agree a rate for the job with you at the outset.

Training, teaching and learning

Over the last few years we have provided structured training in live sound and studio recording to A-level students in the Bedfordshire area. Sessions tend to be lively, practical and extremely relevant to the real-world music profession. Wherever possible, students have the opportunity to use professional equipment and techniques, and interact with other working engineers. We also facilitate and encourage work at live music venues or studios. We have a passion for quality audio and students will have to be really stubborn not to be inspired by our enthusiasm !

This kind of weekly or monthly instruction can be tailored to your requirements and applied to A-level Music Technology or run as an isolated course. Please see our Music Technology pages for more details.
