Tim has been working with Music Technology departments at Queensbury and Manshead Upper Schools in Bedfordshire, assisting in the delivery of the recording elements of the Edexcel Music Technology AS and A2 course.

Working with groups of sixth form students, Tim has been able to share his knowledge and experience of live and recorded sound. Listening and analysis feature amongst the lessons planned and delivered, as well as hands-on training in the use of professional level sound equipment.

Students are taught how to record using the correct equipment and how to get the best results from what is available. Engineering skills are taught for AS, allowing students to enhance their own recordings and apply the techniques learned through listening and experimentation.

At A2, the focus is more on production techniques, and again, listening and experimentation are key factors in allowing the students to develop their own style.

Tim is CRB cleared, and enjoys working with students (especially those who are willing to have a go!)
